Our Ladies Section

Alnmouth Village Golf Club has a friendly and relaxed ladies’ section where the social side of golf is as important as the game itself. There is a warm welcome for all regardless of previous golfing experience, and we want to encourage more ladies and girls to join us.

We have recently signed up to the R&A’s Women in Golf Charter and have made a series of pledges to help ladies and girls get into golf.                          

These include :

• Running events to encourage more women and girls to play golf in a safe environment,
• Ensuring that we have a good level of female representation on the Alnmouth Village Golf Club Board
• Creating even better community links
• Working with Linzi Hardy, the club professional, we will develop and promote a pathway to helping ladies into golf by making individual and group coaching sessions available.

Our Ladies section will ensure that any new ladies feel welcomed in our recently refurbished clubhouse with coffee and cake sessions to help demystify the rules and understand the etiquette on the course.
